The twelve station ALPHASPOOL M traversing spooler featured above is configured with a full width layon roll for for spooling tapes onto paper cores, with traverse rewinding up to 350mm (12") wide and 350mm (12") diameter.

Rolls wound with traverse spooling hold many times more material than pancake (straight) wound rolls increasing efficiency of downstream operations and in many cases simplifying handling and transport.

Alpha also produce the ALPHATRIM winders as stand alone units for use where the exact winding profile is not important; typical uses are for winding the edge trim on slitting and rewinding machines, printing presses or other converting lines .
