Alpha Converting is located just of the A1 at Sandy giving good access from several airports and major roads.
By Car
From the north - Follow the A1 South, Sandy is 6 miles south of St Neots. Take the Exit for Middlefield Ind' Estate (just before the Sandy A1 roundabout). This will take you on to Sunderland Road; Darlington Close is 1.0 miles from the exit on the left opposite some playing fields.
From the south - Follow the A1 North, Sandy is 4 miles north of Biggleswade. Turn right at the Sandy A1 roundabout, go over next roundabout (2nd exit) into Sunderland Road, Darlington Close is the 2nd turning on the right.
By Rail
From London - (approx' 60 minutes) Take the tube to Kings Cross Main line station. Take a fast train to Peterborough; check with the attendant that it stops at Sandy ! From Sandy Station take a taxi, or call us and we'll come and meet you.
By Air
Luton Airport - (small selection of flights from outside UK). Approximately 24 miles from Alpha. Take A505 East through Hitchin, Letchworth & on to Baldock. After approximately 12 miles (just before Baldock) take the A1(M) north toward Peterborough and follow the directions above "From the South".
Stanstead (London) Airport - (First choice for international; but limited ) Approximately 40 miles from Alpha. Take A120 towards Bishop Stortford. After approx' 11 miles, take A10 north to Royston. Turn off after approximately 4 miles on to the A507 to Baldock. At Baldock follow the signs for A1(M) north toward Peterborough and follow the directions above "From the South".
Heathrow (London) Airport - (Easier then Gatwick). Approximately 60 miles from Alpha, Form the Exit tunnel follow signs to M4 and take the M4 West (to M25). Take the first exit on to the M25 north (Harlow M11). Exit at junction 23 onto the A1(M) North. Follow directions above "From the South".
Gatwick (London) Airport - (flights from anywhere ! ). Approximately 100 miles. If leaving South Terminal take M23 north & follow signs for M25 (Heathrow). Leave M25 at junction 23 & take the A1(M) north, and follow the directions above "From the South". From the North Terminal take A23 then A217 to reach the M25.
